InventHelp, a leading invention submission company, is submitting the ZAPPER to companies for their review.

While it’s difficult to imagine life without cell phones, there are times when a dead battery renders them useless. Fortunately, an inventor from Renton, Wash., has found a way to prevent that from happening.

She developed a prototype for the patent-pending ZAPPER to provide a handy, portable option for quickly and easily recharging a cell phone battery. This environmentally friendly charger saves electricity. Besides that, it has the potential to save lives in an emergency situation. Besides its practical attributes, it can individualize and add fun to the appearance of a cell phone. It is not only attractive and decorative, it is affordably priced. It is also compact, lightweight and easy to carry and store. In addition, it is effective, durable and easy to use.

The inventor’s personal need inspired the idea. “It is an idea evolved from my personal need," she said. "I wanted to be self-sufficient and avoid being unable to communicate because of a dead cell phone battery, especially in an emergency, and I didn't want to carry a cord or look for a plug."

The original design was submitted to the Seattle office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
