Novel Grocery Tote Invented by InventHelp Clients (SFO-208)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) August 13, 2016 -- Carrying groceries home is probably the least favorite part of any shopping trip. Oftentimes, the plastic grocery bags break in transit. Even if they don’t, they undoubtedly will end up in landfills. Luckily, two inventors from Concord, Calif., have taken a more eco-friendly approach in the form of a novel reusable tote bag.
They developed a prototype for Zip N Shop to eliminate the need to carry plastic and paper grocery bags to the store. At the same time, it eliminates the expense of purchasing bags from stores on each shopping trip. More importantly, perhaps, it is environmentally friendly in that it reduces the number of plastic bags that will end up in landfills. Besides being reusable and machine or hand washable, it is convenient, easy to use and reasonably priced. It is also lightweight, compact and great for travel. In addition, it is durable for years of effective use.
The inventors’ personal experience inspired the idea. “We were tired of having to carrying bulky bags with us to the store and didn’t want to pay for bags that often broke even before we got the groceries to the car,” one of them said.
The original design was submitted to the San Francisco office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
