"I am a mechanic and run into this problem often," said an inventor from Luxor, Pa. "I waste a lot of time trying to get oil filters off. That is why I came up with a wrench that grips better than traditional versions."

He developed the Improved Oil Filter Wrench to offer a quicker, easier way to remove an oil filter. The unit provides a better grip than conventional filter wrenches. The tool saves time and effort, and eliminates hassles and frustrations. Additionally, the invention is easy to use and producible in different sizes.

The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
