Inventors and InventHelp Clients Develop Customized Splash Guard for Showers (VBL-389)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- When your shower curtain is fully closed, water can still splash out the bottom corners because of the curved shape of your bathtub. Over time, this water can penetrate the bathroom floor, subfloor and areas below. The damage can go unnoticed until it is too late and costly repairs are required. Don't let this go unchecked. Get the DECORATIVE SHOWER MATE. The sooner you stop it, the less time there is for the damage to spread.
Two inventors from Virginia Beach, Vir., created a prototype for the accessory. The device eliminates the accumulation of water on the floor to prevent costly damage. The unit keeps the floor dry to reduce the risk of slipping and minimize serious injuries. Additionally, it is producible in different sizes and styles.
The customized, quality splash guard is made from 1/4-inch smoked acrylic plastic sheeting trimmed in gold, silver or chrome. It features an affordable design that is decorative, stylish and appealing.
The inventors' professional experience provided their inspiration. "We have been in the home-repair business for over 40 years and have repaired damaged floors and the ceilings below in bathrooms," said one inventor. "Our invention solves this problem."
The original design was submitted to the Virginia Beach office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
