"While shopping, my wife placed a cup of coffee in the child seat of the cart since she couldn’t carry it the entire time," said an inventor from Port Orange, Fla. "Due to instability, the coffee ended up spilling." This inspired him to design a solution to this common problem.

The versatile and easy-to-use Grocery Cart Beverage Holder allows for convenient, stable transport of a beverage in a shopping cart, which avoids spills and messes, as well as keeps the user’s hands free. It accommodates cups, cans, bottles or juice boxes and is easy to use for both adults and children. Also, an alternative version holds coupons, shopping lists, etc.

The original design was submitted to the Orlando office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
