Safety Scissors Invented by InventHelp Client (BRK-544)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 27, 2013 -- Hair styling may not seem like a dangerous profession. However, the stylists and their clients who have suffered from accidental scissor cuts may have a different opinion. Fortunately, an inventor from Huntsville, Ala., has found a safer way for everyone involved.
She developed S S to protect the fingers and hands of professional hair stylists from scissor cuts. It also eliminates scissor cuts to a client's skin during haircuts at salons. As such, it is a universal safety measure for minimizing the possibility of injury to anyone from sharp scissor blades. Suitable for professional and consumer use, it is also safe for use around young children.
Moreover, the protection provided does not dull blades nor impede their ability to cut hair. Another benefit is the reduction in loss of income and absence from work due to injury from scissors. In additon, it is safe for anyone to use at home.
Factors in both the professional and personal life of the inventor inspired her. "As a hair stylist for many years, I was constantly aware of the potential danger of sharp scissor blades," she said, "Having a 2-year-old at home finally prompted me to find a way to make scissors safer for everyone."
