"We have an ice rink in our backyard, and it takes forever to flood it with a garden hose," said one of two inventors from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. "Also, having to stand there while it floods from the hose leaves you freezing cold. We developed this device to make it easier to resurface the rink."

They created a prototype for the patent-pending LITTLE RINK FLOODER to offer a more convenient way to create a smooth outdoor ice rink. The unit eliminates the need to flood the rink with a garden hose. The design saves time and effort, and also ensures that the ice is smooth. The accessory makes it easier to maintain an ice rink. In addition, the invention features a lightweight design that even children can use.

The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
