Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Meat-Texturizing/Aging Appliance (OCM-687)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- "I worked in the commissary meat locker and aged meats," said an inventor from Costa Mesa, Calif. "I came up with this idea because I thought it would help control and regulate the process so that homeowner can produce consistent results."
He developed the patent-pending MEAT TENDERIZER AGER to store and age meat in its own environment at home. The unique appliance also texturizes the meat products. The design prevents cross-contamination with other foods. It enables the user to experiment with the best age with the use of a timing mechanism.
The unit ensures that meat is maintained at the desired temperature and humidity with proper circulation. Ultraviolet light helps keep down the potential growth of bacteria and lets natural enzymes improve quality. Additionally, it is usable with beef, lamb, deer, etc.
The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
