InventHelp Inventor Develops Colorful Bandages (VBL-135)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 20, 2013 -- "When my daughter, Max, broke her foot, the doctor decided not to put a cast on it and instead simply put a splint on it and wrapped it with a plain, old, tan elastic bandage," said an inventor from Chesapeake, Vir.
"She was hoping for a cool colored cast to show off to her friends at school. While we were waiting to check out at the doctor's office, she asked, 'Dad, do they make cool elastic bandages, like the rolls of duct tape with the cool designs on them?' I told her that I didn't know, but I would check, since she had to be on crutches and keep her foot wrapped for a couple weeks. To my surprise, there were less than half a dozen colored bandages, and I could only find those online. That's when I told Max that we would check into having them made."
He created a prototype for Max's Wrap It, a colorful bandage that is designed to be visually appealing. The accessory offers an alternative to plain, old bandages. It brightens a child's day and helps an injured person feel better. Additionally, the bandage serves as a conversation starter with its distinctive, novelty design.
The original design was submitted to the Virginia Beach office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
