InventHelp® Client Invention Promotes Independent Bed Use by Elderly/Physically Disabled People (ALL-232)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 04, 2013 -- It’s difficult and even impossible for many elderly and/or physically disabled people to move about in bed, not to mention get into and out of it. This requires constant assistance, which undermines independence and dignity. "That’s why I’ve designed a way to change this frustrating situation," said an inventor from Dallas, GA.
The ergonomic CAMA ESSENTIAL provides an easy way for an elderly and/or physically disabled person to move about in bed and get into/out of it. This avoids strain and struggle, as well as eliminates need for assistance, which promotes independence, dignity and comfort. It also includes a rotating cushioned seat. The invention can be produced in design variations, and it's usable in households, hospitals, nursing homes and military hospitals.
The original design was submitted to the Atlanta office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
