An inventor from Lebanon, Pa., knows the importance of cast care during the healing of an injured foot, ankle or leg. "My friend broke his heel and had to keep it warm during cold weather, but socks weren’t adequate for this task," he said. "This inspired me to design a solution to this problem."
He then created a prototype of Protect a Cast, which provides optimal protection for a foot/ankle/leg cast. This helps avoid further injury to the foot and keeps the foot warm in order to promote circulation and healing. Producible in design variations (including different colors) it is ideal for households, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, physical-rehab centers, ambulances, etc.
