"Many times I’ve found myself stuck with a dead cell phone and not being able to make or take important calls for my business - not to mention news reports of people stranded without help because their cell phones’ batteries ran out," said an inventor from Dixon, Calif. "In order to solve these problems, I conceived of my design."

The S.P. BACKUP is a device that allows for convenient charging of a cell phone in any location. It eliminates the hassle of not being able to make or take important calls, and it can help if the user is stranded and/or in need of help.

Overall, it promotes peace of mind. Easy to use and ideal for cell-phone users and cell-phone companies, the device also can be used for other mobile devices (tablet PCs, smartphones, MP3 players, etc.).

The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
