InventHelp® Client Patents “Last Stand” – Invention is Ideal For Traveling Musicians
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 -- InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Illinois, has designed a keyboard stand that incorporates many convenience features for use by traveling musicians. This invention is patented.
The “Last Stand” enables a musician to set up a keyboard and its accessories quickly and easily, and eliminates the need for extra supplies. The invention could also be used as a portable podium or work station when not in use as a keyboard stand. Lightweight for easy carrying, the Last Stand is also made of durable construction to travel safely and easily.
Shaped like an I-beam and produced from carbonite or aluminum, the Last Stand would feature a hinged leg at the back of the stand. Four keyboard support arms would be attached to the top of the stand, with a storage area included between the stand’s legs. A power switch, music stand and light would be included on the top portion, with receptacles for keyboards, mixers and amplifiers on the stand’s lower side. A power supply and stabilizer are also included for ease of use. A recessed carrying handle would be located right above the storage area to facilitate easy transport between performances. A layer of rubber would cover the bottom of the stand to prevent slipping on the stage. To use, a musician plugs the keyboard directly into the stand and attaches the keyboard and all accessories easily to the stand.
“As a musician, I found myself having to arrive much earlier than my bandmates to set up all of my equipment and run all of the wiring,” said the inventor. “My invention would easily cut a multi-step process down to just two or three steps, and would make setup efficient because the same setup is required for each performance.”
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 10-SST-303 at (800) 851-6030.
