Two InventHelp® Clients Invent A Kit for Use with Mobility Aids (CTO-307)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) October 30, 2013 -- For all of those individuals who use various mobility aids, power failures can be a real problem. In order to assist them in these troublesome times, two inventors from Bridgeport, Conn., developed the PRODUCTS FOR THE HANDICAP.
The kit lights the way so that the user can see where he or she is going. The accessories also ensure that motorists can see the user. The invention makes the user feel safer and more independent. It is adaptable for use with wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, canes, walkers and crutches. Additionally, the components are producible in various sizes, shapes and colors.
The inventors' personal experience inspired their idea. "For 14 years I was the sole care-giver to my wife, who became wheelchair bound. Thus, the thought of lights attached to a wheelchair came from the obvious safety reasons inside and outside, power failures, and the many urgent mid-night runs to the bathroom in the darkness."
The original design was submitted to the Connecticut office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
