InventHelp® Client Develops Invention That Helps Physically Disabled People Shower Independently (DVR-575)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) October 02, 2013 -- "My wife has MS, which requires her to ride around on a scooter," said one of two inventors from Evans, Colo. "Since conventional scooters aren’t designed for use in the shower, we decided to develop an alternative that's suitable for use in homes, hospitals and nursing homes."
They then created a prototype of The "SASSY" Shower Turtle which provides easy access and support for a physically disabled person in a roll-in/walk-in shower. This eliminates the risk of falling on a wet surface and the need for assistance, which ensures privacy, convenience, and dignity. In addition, its specific use maximizes its longevity.
The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
