InventHelp® Client Patents "Optimal Grout Removal Tool" – Invention Could Clean, Pane or Remove Tile Grout Easily
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) October 18, 2013 -- InventHelp, America’s leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Alaska, has designed a tool that would enable a user to clean, plane or remove tile grout. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
The "Optimal Grout Removal Tool" could clean, plane or remove tile grout, even in hard-to-reach areas. Reducing the need for assistance, it would save time and effort. The invention would prevent damage to tiles, and would eliminate the need to use expensive and bulky electric tools. The tool would perform faster with more controlled efficiency than the conventional handheld tools. Versatile and easy to use, the idea would be suitable for use by tile/floor contractors, remodelers and do-it-yourselfers.
The rubber/plastic handle would measure 4-inches in length, and the commercial grade steel shaft, including three individual carbide tips, would measure 6-inches in length. The comfortable, non-slip grip would make it easy to apply pressure in tight areas. A threaded handle attaches the tool to a standard extension pole for large-floor and wall-tile jobs. Triangular carbide bit design features cutting tips of small, medium and large sizes with unique angled edges, which enables a user to cut through grout efficiently. The user would select a tip that corresponds to the width and depth of the grout, and with a simple rotation of the tool, attaches the tip easily.
"When installing, remodeling or cleaning floor or wall tiles, multiple tools are always necessary, not to mention a lot of time and effort," said the inventor. "This inspired me to design a more versatile and efficient tool for cleaning, smooth planing and removing the grout."
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 10-WGH-4077 at (800) 851-6030.
