Author J.B. Ralph recognizes the need for children to develop a little maturity through learning lessons gained from reading simple stories. In his new publication, "A Kid’s World - Part Two," he reveals a collection of short stories that imparts valuable lessons to children of all ages.
One tells about a child’s experience growing up in a town with a very weird name. The people there are happy and contented with their lives, but that was not always the case. In "The Mall and the Mannequin," a little boy celebrates his 5th birthday in the most unforgettable way. There’s also a little girl who wonders how it is like to be a grown up. Her mom is very fussy with her appearance. Will she grow up exactly like her? Readers will also meet another child who develops a fondness for television shows and learn all about "PG 13."
Ralph highlights the importance of learning, and it must start at home. A lot of things can happen and one must make wise decisions and take some actions before it is too late. The stories in this book portray situations that many children deal with everyday. It shows an appreciation for the opportunity that all ages have to learn and to think independently.
Easy to read, well-illustrated and somewhat provocative, "A Kid’s World - Part Two" deals with relevant issues that include possible thought-provoking life experiences.
