New Book Proclaims, ‘America Cannot Afford the GOP Servitude to Big Business’
Laguna Niguel, California (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- At the age of 91, former member of the French Resistance during World War II and author, Jacques Ferraris, has experienced the rise and fall of several political regimes and presidencies. Passionate about the policies backing the Obama administration, Ferraris completed his book, “Obama 2012: For a Compassionate America” (published by AuthorHouse), to expose corrupt behavior of elected officials.
“Since the people chose Obama for a second term, when will Republicans accept the verdict?” asks Ferraris. “We elected our officials to Congress to work for us, not to obey their campaign contributors. We must demand that they work for the good of the country, not the lobbyists’ special interests, or we will send them back home. America cannot afford the constant GOP filibusters.”
Ferraris discusses the topics of:
• Tea Party members and opposing conservative beliefs
• Effects of regulations on Wall Street and ‘Big Banks’
• Consequences of tax rate increases
• Proposed changes to the presidential primary campaigning process
• Necessity to change the current situation of the presidential primaries
“I experienced poverty when I arrived in America in 1948, working as a janitor at 87 cents an hour, supporting the family, including an expecting wife,” Ferraris says. “I remember the anxiety that the minimum wage war in Washington caused my family. It was a struggle to survive. I hope to raise awareness among voting Americans to support Obama’s policies and his dedication to help hard working citizens.”
