JailInmates.us.org has completed the third step in their ongoing launch cycle by optimizing their service for most mobile devices, the company said yesterday.
“Before we could go mobile, we had to make sure that our regular website was functioning bug-free,” a JailInmates.us.org spokesman said. “Then we had to launch our social media accounts. But now we are available and optimized for nearly all popular mobile devices.”
JailInmates.us.org will now automatically detect if someone is using an iPhone, iPad, Android-enabled device, or Microsoft device and redirect them to the appropriate version of their service, he said.
“People don't want to be confined to their desktops or laptops when they need information,” he said. “These days ,people are using their mobile devices more often than traditional computers. This means that JailInmates.us.org has to be ready to go mobile as well.”
JailInmates.us.org believes that the mobile edition of their service will most likely be used in public social situations, he said.
“If someone meets a guy or a woman at a bar and is thinking about going home with them, they'll want to make sure they aren't a criminal first,” he said. “Now its possible to discreetly type their name into our search service and find out a couple of minutes later. We think that will help people stay safe.”
There is no extra charge for using the mobile edition of the service, he said.
