James W. Johnson’s New Book Aids in ‘Pickin Up the Pieces of Your Life’
HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- Author James W. Johnson, Ph.D. decided to write a book detailing how he found a way to pick up the pieces of his broken life and start anew.
In his motivational, self-improvement book, “Pickin Up the Pieces of Your Life: It Is Never too Early – It Is Never too Late” (published by WestBow Press), Dr. Johnson describes how being laid off in 2007 started a process where he learned much about himself through introspection and soul-searching.
This introspection revealed a lifetime of out-of-control stress, which had a negative impact on him and caused him to drop pieces of his life. He found a direct correlation between his personal challenges, failures and alcoholism with the “Toxic Crew.” He explains the “Toxic Crew” is made up of anxiety, fear, doubt and depression, and how that evil bunch can be conquered by anyone through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
“Lives are not perfect,” Dr. Johnson says. “Stress, anxiety, fear, doubt and depression impact the lives of many people, including Christians. Losing track of pieces of one’s life, like goals, desires, hopes and dreams occurs. Readers can relate to this book and then take action to pick up pieces of their own lives.”
Dr. Johnson’s story is one of faith, hope and restoration that brings readers closer to understanding and overcoming the causes and implications of life’s many obstacles.
