4 Wheel Parts Joins Sponsors for Upcoming Lucas Oil Spring 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals
Compton, CA (PRWEB) May 10, 2014 -- 4 Wheel Parts, leading distributor and retailer of parts and equipment for the aftermarket off-road industry, is among sponsors for the 29th annual Spring 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals. 4x4s from across the country will gather in Lima, Ohio May 16-18 for the event presented by Lucas Oil. Presented by Family Events, activities include a monster truck attempting a backflip, Mud Bog challenge, Miss 4 Wheel contest, burnout competition, and tough trucks challenge.
“A backflip has never been done at a Jamboree and a diesel monster truck has never done one either,” says Emily Boden, 4-Wheel Jamboree marketing manager. “So we’re going to be attempting the first ever diesel monster truck backflip on Sunday.”
The return of the Mud Bog challenge is among the special events that will happen over the three days and a blood drive to benefit the American Red Cross is slated for Saturday. During the entire weekend 4x4 enthusiasts will appreciate the appearance of Ian Johnson from Power Nation’s Xtreme Off-Road and fans of Duck Dynasty can see Mountain Man on Saturday. Among the event sponsors are 4 Wheel Parts, Dick Cepek, and Mickey Thompson.

“We anticipate the 2014 event will continue to grow over last year’s numbers,” says Boden. Last year’s event tallied over 35,000 spectators and over 2,100 participants. Future Lucas Oil Jamborees will be in Springfield, MO June 21-22, Bloomsburg, PA July 11-13, and Indianapolis, IN September 19-21.
