Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 30, 2014
Virgin Mobile, a Sprint company, announced their Virgin Mobile Custom product. This lets users choose the type of wireless data plan they get, and lets them change that plan to keep costs low, says USA Today, July 30.
Industry analyst Jeff Kagan offers comment.
“The wireless industry has always been full of innovation and Virgin Mobile Custom is just that. It will help users save money by not overspending on wireless data.” Says Wireless analyst Jeff Kagan.
Virgin Mobile is owned by Sprint. This is not available on Sprint, but is available on Virgin Mobile.
“This is an innovative plan that puts customers in control of their usage and what they spend. I have a feeling the way we use and pay for wireless services will continue to change going forward.” Says Technology analyst Kagan.
“Many customers have a problem selecting which plan they need. This puts the control in the customers hands. And customers can change their plan when they want, from their phone. Bottom line, this lets the user control costs and keeps costs low.” Say Tech analyst Kagan.
“When a customers is using more, they just adjust their plan. When they use less, they adust their plan. This control will reduce what customers pay for wireless smartphone services.” Says Principal analyst Kagan.
“I think this is exactly what a segment of consumers are really looking for. I think this idea will spread.” Says Kagan.
