Wireless Analyst Jeff Kagan on AT&T Rollover Data Plan Announced at CES
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- AT&T Mobility announced Rollover Data for wireless data usage, on Jan. 7. AT&T says it gives more than 50 million “Mobile Share Value” subscribers “Shareable Rollover Data”.
Industry analyst Jeff Kagan offers comment.
“This is a great idea. Customers will love it. Customers loved the original Rollover Minutes plan rolled out by AT&T Mobility several years ago. This is the same concept, but this Rollover Data plan is for unused wireless data.” Says Wireless Analyst Jeff Kagan.
“AT&T was very successful with their Rollover Minutes plan and I expect them to make lightning strike twice with this new Rollover Data plan. This could be the beginning of a new trend in the wireless space.” Says Telecom Analyst Kagan.
"Rollover Data should help AT&T Mobility win new customers and retain existing customers." Says Kagan.
The only other carriers that have a similar offering are T-Mobile and C Spire Wireless.
“This is what customers have been hoping for. I think customers will love this idea. It is good to see new plans that will excite the wireless marketplace.” Says Kagan.
