Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) September 08, 2016
RE/MAX Realtor Jeremy Wynia announced he recently won the 2016 World Master International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) Championship in Las Vegas. “I have been practicing and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu off and on for about eight years,” said Wynia. “I am proud to say this was the first time I ever signed up for an IBJJF tournament, and I won.”
Wynia, a self-proclaimed “competitive person” all his life, has been wrestling since the 7th grade. He later became a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as the training helps Wynia have better focus with the rest of his life, including his professional life as a Realtor.
“Being a Realtor can be very stressful, and there are many days when the stress level says ‘Go home and be lazy,’” said Wynia. “On those days, I choose to go to the academy and train. It always makes me feel better, less stressed, more relaxed, and focused. Even a bad day of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training is a good day.”
Added Professor Bryan Waltz, a black belt and head instructor at Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. “Jeremy is about the most likable guy you are going to meet and nobody works harder than he does. He succeeded at this year’s World Master IBJJF Championship, earning gold in a commanding fashion.”
