Transportation for some departure ports is also listed. For each of the Caribbean Islands that the author and his wife visited, he listed a little about its history. He also listed the sights to see and what shopping is available. And finally at the end, he gives a brief description of each of his fifty-one cruises.
The book is written in a straightforward and immersive style that gives readers a in-depth look at the many places the author has visited. It also includes the places many idiosyncrasies that make them charming to locals and tourists alike. “Our Cruising Experiences“ is undoubtedly a must have for all the travelers out there.

About the Author
Gerald “Jerry” Ault held quite a few jobs while going through high school. He worked at the bowling alley setting up pins manually and also delivered the evening newspaper. For three summers, he went with a group of boys and teachers to Massachusetts to work in the tobacco fields. After graduating from Lehighton High School in Pennsylvania, he worked at the local Sears Roebuck store as a clerk.In April 20, 1954, he enlisted in the US Navy. He was an aviation electronics technician responsible for maintaining all the electronics equipment installed in the assigned aircraft. He flew in all different types of aircraft and amassed over eight thousand hours of flight time. He was an air crewman qualified in three different types of aircraft. He got married while in the Navy and had to obtain his commandingofficer’s permission to do so. He married Beatrice Schock on January 3,1959, and are still married. While in the Navy, they had three children: Bonnie, Cheryl Ann, and Jerry Jr. Since Jerry was deployed a lot, his wife had to raise their three children almost by herself. He retired from the Navy in October 1973 as an Aviation Electronics Chief Petty Officer(E7). His wife and three children attended the retirement ceremony. After the Navy, they bought a house in Slatington, Pennsylvania. Jerry taught electronics and math at Lincoln Technical Institute in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and retired from there in April 2001.They both liked to travel a lot, but his wife’s health has slowed them down. They started cruising in 1988 and have taken fifty-one cruises, some by themselves, some with family, and some with friends. While growing up in Lehighton, Pa, Jerry was in the church choir and was also an acolyte for All Saints Episcopal church in Lehighton. He is still active at All Saints as a member of The Vestry.
