Joe Mangiacotti started learning photography when he got his first 35mm film camera in 1970. Since then, photography has become more than a hobby for him. He uses this passion as a means to capture the beauty of the world and share it to others. In Souls of every Season, Mangiacotti brings together a collection of photographs of scenes taken in different seasons. This new book is not only an expression of personal creativity; it is a visual celebration of the wonders and joys that make life more beautiful.
The world is beautiful and all life is precious—this is the message that permeates throughout Mangiacotti’s work. In it he encourages readers to immerse themselves in a visual experience that shines with hope, beauty and joy. From breathtaking nature shots to adorable animals, the featured imageries are set in Vermont and they are all a testament to the vastness of human experience and how it can be shared through art.
“(Souls of every Season) shows the world in a different light than what we see every day. It gives one a peaceful, hopeful sense of our world,” says Mangiacotti.
Dazzling in its range of subjects and touching in its immediacy, Souls of every Season is a journey for the heart, soul and senses.
