Global Travel Clothing Moves to InDemand After Successfully Raising Over $71K for Joey EDC Travel Jacket on Kickstarter
Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) May 16, 2016 -- Global Travel Clothing (GTC) announced their move to Indiegogo’s InDemand this week shortly after wrapping up a successful Kickstarter campaign. The company raised over $71K for their Joey Everyday Carry (EDC) Jacket thanks to over 428 backers.
“Our team is looking forward to continue offering our Joey EDC line to consumers across the world,” said GTC founder Jennifer Cope. “We’ve been in the jacket business for years now, so we’re excited to expand the GTC name and continue offering high-quality jackets and sweatshirts for years to come.”
GTC has been producing jackets since they opened for business in 2010. The company’s newest Joey EDC line offers consumers the most affordable, full-featured everyday carry jacket for gadget lovers, parents and travelers. Compared to other similar jackets available on the market, GTC’s Joey EDC line offers fully-enclosed pockets, detachable sleeves and hood, a built-in eye mask, and, because the company raised over $60K, metro pass pockets on each sleeve.
Joey EDC backers on Kickstarter were able to purchase a jacket (or multiple jackets) at a discounted price. Because Joey EDC jackets and sweatshirts were so successful on Kickstarter, the company has decided to continue offering the line on Indiegogo’s InDemand platform at a discounted price.
GTC plans to sell Joey EDC jackets and sweatshirts for $145, which is $54 off the future retail price. The Joey EDC line is available in both men and women’s sizes S-XXL. However, GTC does offer custom sizes upon request. Backers may choose their Joey EDC jacket or sweatshirt in black, dark grey, green fleck, grey cotton, light green fleck and red. About Global Travel Clothing
Global Travel Clothing was established in 2009 after Jennifer Cope and her husband spent the better part of a year traveling all around China. After purchasing a travel jacket for the trip, they noted that several of the pockets were neither functional nor practical. After developing their first line of jackets in 2009 and offering them to the public in 2010, Global Travel Clothing is proud to introduce their most innovative jacket to date: the Joey Everyday Carry Jacket.
