Judith de Wilde’s New Book Evokes Pain of Heartbreak
Pittsgrove, N.J. (PRWEB) January 17, 2014 -- In Judith de Wilde’s new book “Even After That” (published by AuthorHouse), she puts into words the journey of heartbreak to recovery after losing her husband of 50 years to a horrific stroke. De Wilde begins the book with an introduction to her husband, to whom she dedicated the book, and then begins to tell the story of her recovery through poems.
De Wilde’s reflections of loving and caring for her husband for eight years before his passing are meant to help guide those through trying times or to help others provide support.
Through her poems, de Wilde hopes to make readers understand the importance of commitments, the depth of marriage and vows taken and the significance of God’s role to carry us through rough times.
“I was searching for comfort when I was left with a very big void in my life when my husband passed,” de Wilde says. “I found answers through prayer and writing and when I combined the two, I realized these poems had a divine power to heal me.”
It is de Wilde’s hope that with her heartfelt poems and comforting photography she can help heal others, too.
