July 5th Family Celebration at Fort Frenzy with Jason Brown Concert and Fireworks
Fort Dodge, IA (PRWEB) June 28, 2014 -- The “5 F’s on the 5th” which represents -Fort Dodge, Family, Fireworks, Freedom and Festival is planned as an annual collaborative event with Fort Frenzy, the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance Fireworks Task Force, Fort Dodge Community Foundation and other community business sponsors.
According to Effie Hill, General Manager at Fort Frenzy, "We began working closely with the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance shortly after we opened last year. It has been an excellent working relationship in putting together the firework celebration and the entire event is going to be awesome."
C&S Products is the catalyst business in the funding of this event and additional financial support from other businesses are making the “5 F’s on the 5th” a regional family destination.
Fort Frenzy is the new entertainment center in Fort Dodge that will be hosting this year's firework and concert performance. Effie Hill says, "Our mission is where our communities come together and this event is how we can give back to families and friends." Effie adds, “This year is just the beginning of a new tradition that will bring lasting memories."
The free event is July 5th with a concert starting at 7:00 pm with Jason Brown. Jason is a well-known country singer that grew up in Pella, IA. At dusk, the huge fireworks display will take place. The wide open area that surrounds Fort Frenzy will provide a great viewing stage to enjoy the fireworks. Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to watch.
Other logistics for that evening such as parking and shuttle service information will be announced next week. Fort Frenzy is working with the Fort Dodge Firework Task Force to make this a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone.
