New Memoir Recounts Author’s Son’s Diagnosis and Treatment of Brain Tumor
ADELAIDE, Australia (PRWEB) April 26, 2017 -- Wanting to share her story about the journey she and her family and friends went through with her son, Jack, having a brain tumor, Tarina Marcinkowski wrote her debut book, “Just Believe: The True Life Story of My Brave Little Boy, Jack, Told Through My Eyes” (published by Balboa Press AU), to educate people about the experience and illustrate the commonness of cancer.
Embracing any information to find answers, Marcinkowski shares her fears, her inspiration and her thoughts of the experience with her son’s cancer. The book details the cancer diagnosis and treatment along with the news of the cancer’s return and using natural remedies in attempts to cure him. Jack was one of 11 children who were overdosed with a chemotherapy drug called etoposide phosphate. In addition, the book tells of Jack’s death and Marcinkowski’s thoughts on how she changed because of Jack.
“We are in a world where cancer is becoming an epidemic and still there is no sign of a cure,” Marcinkowski says. “We are bombarded with adverts and fear to continuously check ourselves and do test to make sure we are not affected. Something needs to change because what we are currently doing is not working.”
