K M Boze’s Vision of Zombie Apocalypse Rises Up in New Book
Russelville, AR (PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- The possibility of a zombie apocalypse has been the subject of debate in fiction. Some books, such as Max Brooks’ “World War Z,” claim it could be started by a virus. Others, such as Robert Kirkman’s “The Walking Dead,” give no reason, leaving the reader to imagine their own horrific beginning.
Author K M Boze’s new zombie thriller, “Empty Vessels” (published by Trafford Publishing), offers a scenario in which the apocalypse is not started by a virus, but by one woman’s attempt at revenge.
In a world where zombies are a possible threat, Xyla, an assistant professor, seeks revenge against the hospital staff she believes killed her mother. With the help of her two friends, Xyla creates a cold remedy and sends it to the hospital with one special ingredient added.
The cold remedy, however, is more dangerous than Xyla anticipated, and soon, a zombie outbreak erupts. Amidst the pandemonium, Tayt Spade, one of Xyla’s coworkers, attempts to find a cure. Can he stop the apocalypse and win Xyla’s heart?
Readers can check out the sequel, “Decomposition,” which is available now. Boze plans to release the final chapter, “Twisted Veins,” in the near future.
