Jersey City, NJ (PRWEB) April 11, 2014 -- “Farmers Insurance launched a national initiative, Thank A Million Teachers, to recognize America’s teachers for what they do and as part of the effort, we are also providing much needed grants to teachers across the country,” said Farmers agent Panjwani. “Here in Jersey City, we have a wonderful teacher, Carla Perez who teaches at P.S. 38 and I am asking our community to join me in rallying support for her proposal.”
In her proposal, Ms. Perez is asking for funds to help the student council create a newsletter to showcase school events and celebrate student achievement and success. If she gathers enough votes, Ms. Perez could receive up to $2,500 in grant funding to by the supplies and equipment she and her students need.

Added Panjwani, “I encourage everyone to vote today for Ms. Perez’ proposal and then go back every day to vote for her. I truly hope she and her students win.”
