Karmagenes, the DNA-Based Personality Test, to Attend the Collision Conference in Las Vegas
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND (PRWEB) April 29, 2015 -- Karmagenes is a Switzerland-based company that attempts to explain the connections between people’s DNA and their corresponding personality traits. Karmagenes will be bringing this new technology to the United States for the Collision Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 5-6, 2015. Collision is Web Summit’s sister event that brings together the leading minds in technology from all over the world for two days of workshops and networking.
The Karmagenes team consists of six members including DNA specialists and psychologists. The team asks customers to swab the inside of their cheeks in order to collect DNA which is then sent to the Karmagenes headquarters and studied for personality traits. A 12-page personality profile that covers potential strengths and weaknesses is then compiled and sent back to customers.
Personality profiles can then be used for a variety of reasons. Customers can see if their personalities are similar to that of close family members, friends or other life influencers. They can also assess their potential personality weaknesses and strengths and use them for career aspirations or professional profiles. Eventually, Karmagenes hopes to also expand its services to include matchmaking suggests that could help people find other singles with compatible personalities.
“We hope to offer people a healthy mixture of nurture and nature,” said Kyriakos Kokkoris, one of the creators of Karmagenes. “Karmagenes allows people to get to know themselves better. By learning if you’re more outgoing or reserved, emotional or sex driven, you can better prepare yourself for situations and understand why you make the decisions you do throughout your life and day to day.”
Collision will allow Karmagenes to make its first appearance in the United States. For the event, Karmagenes is offering 100 online genetic tests for the discounted price of $99 until May 19, 2015. These select tests will be among the first opened to the international public and will include an invitation to become one of the first members of Karmagenes upcoming innovative interactive platform.
