This Holiday Season the WingHouse Hopes to Impact over 2500 Florida Families
Largo, FL (PRWEB) December 07, 2015 -- Over the past 20 years the Annual Ker’s Christmas event has brought many families joy during the holiday season. The event would host deserving families located around the Largo WingHouse headquarters. “With such amazing past success, we wanted to try to reach even more children and families in the WingHouse community,” stated CEO Terry Ryan.
This year’s Ker’s Christmas event will be held on Saturday December 19th, 2016 from 10am-12pm at three Florida WingHouse locations. The event will include over $15,000 in toys and gifts for 30-60 local families, a complimentary lunch buffet, and an appearance by Santa, in each restaurant.
The Bradenton WingHouse location will be opening its doors to The Boys and Girls Club of Manatee County. The Altamonte Springs WingHouse is working with the Salvation Army of Orlando to give gifts some of their deserving families and The Clearwater WingHouse location will be welcoming the local VFW and some of their needy families.
“We could not have gotten to where we are today without the continued support of our loyal local communities and customers,” stated CEO Terry Ryan. ”By hosting our annual event at multiple WingHouse locations, we can impact more local families that are truly in need.”
Giving back to charities that focus on children and families is a vital part of the WingHouse mission. In addition to the Ker’s Christmas Event, The WingHouse is proud to have teamed up with the Salvation Army for their Annual Angel Tree Program. The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program is a community partnership effort that makes the holidays brighter for underprivileged children. Hosting 100 Angels on trees at each of the 25 WingHouse locations, The WingHouse could help up to 2500 deserving children this holiday season.
“The WingHouse is honored to be a part of such a worthwhile effort that lets less fortunate children know that they are not forgotten at Christmas. We have really enjoyed watching our staff and customers get excited about spreading Christmas joy by giving back to so many children in need,” said Ryan.
