Kris Power sounds battle cry of hope with new book
FORTH WORTH, Texas (PRWEB) September 05, 2014 -- On Christmas Eve 2007, author Kris Power’s unborn daughter’s heart stopped beating, just two days before her due date. While mourning her loss, Power suffered a health crisis, and later was dealt the heavy blow of parental divorce. It seemed to her that God had forgotten them.
Despite these heartbreaks, Power’s faith remained. Her new book, “Battle Cry: Hope and Healing in the Battles of Life” (published by CrossBooks), recounts the painful tragedies that struck her family and the hope that pulled them through.
From loss of a child to the loss of health to the loss of her intact family, Power details how each setback in turn made her stronger. Throughout her book, she also includes stories from other women who have overcome difficult challenges with the help of God.
