‘Trever’s Biscuit’ to Be Featured at 2013 American Association of School Librarians’ National Conference
Princeton, IN (PRWEB) November 20, 2013 -- “Trever's Biscuit” (published by AuthorHouse), the new children’s book by L.D. Pegram Boyle, offers a welcome learning tool for teaching children about the time and energy that it takes to have a pet.
“Trever's Biscuit” tells the true story of Trever, a young boy eagerly awaiting the arrival of his new puppy. Bell, a dog at Hoosier Kennels, is having her first litter of puppies. Trever is very excited. He cannot wait to have a new pet to accompany him on daily adventures.
An excerpt from “Trever's Biscuit”:
“Soon Biscuit will leave her first home and go to Trever’s house.
Trever is waiting for Biscuit to grow bigger so she can be strong enough to leave her mother Bell. Trever needs to start getting ready for Biscuit to come to his house.”
A portion of the proceeds from “Trever’s Biscuit” will be donated to animal shelters, and the book will be featured at the 16th annual American Association of School Librarians’ National Conference and Exhibition, held Nov. 14-17, 2013, in Hartford, Conn.
