Columbus, OH (PRWEB) February 03, 2014
Lake Shore Cryotronics, a leading innovator in solutions for measurement under extreme temperature and magnetic field conditions, has launched a new branding campaign to better communicate how it serves the international research, test and measurement community.
This new branding can be seen on the company’s website, a well-used resource for researchers in these fields. The site now reflects the broader vision of the company, as a global partner to scientists involved in physics, electronics, and materials research, as well as engineers and others looking to improve measurements in their workflow processes.
The logo includes a new mark, a "graph" symbol that replaces the venerable "snowflake" and better reflects who Lake Shore has become as a company.
"When Lake Shore was founded in 1968, we focused on the development of cryogenic sensors and instruments," said Rob Ellis, VP of Strategic Planning at Lake Shore. "Today, we’re a recognized leader in precision measurement and control, as we’ve expanded into magnetics and materials characterization over the years. The new logo design reflects not just cryogenics, but the promise we make to our customers: reliable data."
Customers can expect to see the brand on all new products introduced by the company, as well as key resources like the new Temperature Measurement and Control Catalog and others throughout the year. It will also be seen in materials designed to educate new types of users in many different industries on the company’s range of products and services.
"Some of our new products, like the THz materials characterization system that will be made commercially available this year, are important to new fields of research – markets where we’re not as well known. Our new branding projects our identity more effectively to these customers," Ellis said.
"We have a rich 45-year history with a strong reputation for reliable products backed by significant expertise. Lake Shore scientists are involved in original research and partner with academic and government labs on a number of experimental research initiatives," Ellis explained. "The 'Advancing Science' tagline really captures the value we bring to our customers, helping them in their pursuit of science as they explore and develop tomorrow’s technologies."
Whether it is introducing a turnkey system that uses terahertz energy for non-contact materials characterization under extreme temperature and magnetic field conditions, or offering systems that enable leading-edge research in the development of nanomaterial, clean energy, spintronics and graphene technologies, Lake Shore continues to be at the forefront of experimental R&D.
High-performance product solutions from Lake Shore include cryogenic temperature sensors and instrumentation, magnetic test and measurement instruments and systems, probe stations, and precision Hall effect measurement systems that explore the properties of next-generation materials.
