How Many Properties Can You Buy for the Salary of a World Cup Superstar
Berlin, Germany (PRWEB) June 27, 2014 -- The World Cup is in full flow and it is no secret that the world’s best footballers, who are showing off their skills in Brazil, are earning a substantial sum of money for participating in the month-long tournament. The 29-year-old Portugal superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly earning $490,870 a week, after tax, amounting to a staggering $2,243,997 (USD) to take part in the 32-day event.
But how far does this fortune reach when it comes to real estate? Global property portal Lamudi has done the math. The leading real estate website created an infographic showing how many of the most common-sized properties could be purchased in emerging markets for the World Cup salary of the FIFA Ballon d’Or winner.
