As a mom especially, I get that it takes a village sometimes, and we, as a community can really make a difference when it comes to helping others who may just need a helping hand to get them back on track.

The REALTOR® Foundation supports organizations in central Indiana who serve and house the community’s homeless neighbors. Ranging from victims of domestic violence to men with medical needs and entire families, the Foundation’s grant recipients just need a helping hand.
“The event was a great success with the proceeds going to help our local homeless and families in need,” said RE/MAX Select agent Laura O’Connor, who recently celebrated five years as a real estate professional. “ As a mom especially, I get that it takes a village sometimes, and we, as a community can really make a difference when it comes to helping others who may just need a helping hand to get them back on track.”
At the recent event at the Dyes Walk Country Club in Greenwood, any and all real estate professionals were welcome, in addition to opening it up to the public. The casino night bustled with Texas Hold’Em and Blackjack tables, with proceeds going to the The REALTOR® Foundation.
Laura O’Connor is a proud and active participant for many of the Foundation’s events. Recently, she volunteered at their "Spring into Action" event, helping spruce up homes in the community, including gardening, outside home maintenance, trimming trees, and mending fences.
