Louisiana requires servers and sellers of alcohol to complete a Responsible Vendor training class within 45 days of employment. Specifically, this course covers how to prevent customers from becoming intoxicated, how to refuse a sale, the effects of alcohol on customers, and more. The permit is valid for four years.
