Lesline Nembhard Releases Introspective, Provocative Poetry

About the Author
Lesline Nembhard was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. She attended the Mayfield Primary School, the St. Elizabeth Technical High School and received her teacher certification from Bethlehem Teacher's College. At college she majored in secondary school education. She graduated with distinction in the areas of English, arts and crafts and biology. Nembhard taught high school in Jamaica and later immigrated to the United States .She continued teaching in the Bronx and Brooklyn, New York. She has worked in the field of developmental disabilities as an in-home support specialist for the past 10 years. Nembhard resides with her husband, Owen, in Bonita Springs, Fla. She is the mother of two sons and grandmother to three grandchildren. She attends the Naples Central Foursquare Church where she is part of a vibrant family of believers.
