Linda Hehir guides readers to freedom from pain in new book
DUNBLANE, Scotland (PRWEB) October 22, 2014 -- Author Linda Hehir worked in health services for 40 years and has studied acupuncture and energy medicines for the last 15 years, culminating in her certification of Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture from the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. She then went on to use this knowledge on her patients for the last 10 years, which she says has brought them great healing.
Hehir now aims to bring the same healing to a larger group with her new book, “How to alleviate your Musculoskeletal Pain Using Trigger Point Relief Technique”(published by AuthorHouse UK), which discusses trigger point therapy and how to utilize it.
In her book, Hehir discusses the various trigger points throughout the body and what kind of pain they can bring about. She then describes how to properly apply acupressure to these points in order to alleviate pain. There’s also information on what signs to look out for regarding certain areas and when one should seek medical or professional help.
Hehir hopes that her book will educate readers on what she believes to be an underutilized medicine and that her book can help others find healing and escape from their pain.
An excerpt from “How to alleviate your Musculoskeletal Pain Using Trigger Point Relief Technique”:
“During the natural course of our daily activities we can put a great deal of stress on our bodies. Much of this stress can affect the flexibility of our skeletal muscles, whether it is from sports, work activities, over-stretching, repetitive actions or emotional and psychologically traumatizing events in our lives.”
