OVERLAND PARK, KS, (PRWEB) January 28, 2014
Litigation Insights, a company that specializes in jury research and visual communications, has been certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
In order to be certified, a company must be at least 51% owned, controlled, operated, and managed by an individual woman or team of women. The certification process requires a thorough evaluation of the company and a site visit by a WBENC regional partner. Litigation Insights’ case was reviewed by the Women's Business Development Center based in Chicago.
“We are proudly working toward a more open and diverse business landscape,” said Merrie Jo Pitera, CEO of Litigation Insights. “This certification underscores our commitment to a world where women everywhere are welcomed as full contributors to society—from the courtroom to the board room.”
Certification by the WBENC comes with several benefits, including access to exclusive business opportunities offered by WBENC partners and government agencies. Additionally, many companies specifically seek out WBENC-certified vendors and businesses in order to develop their supplier diversity programs.
Since its founding more than 20 years ago, Litigation Insights and its litigation consultants have worked with more than 50 Fortune 500 clients, providing services such as mock trials, focus groups, witness preparation, jury selection, and trial graphics development.
