Palatine, IL (PRWEB) July 03, 2014

Golfers and supporters will gather at Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove on August 11 for the Little City Invitational (LCI) Golf Tournament to raise awareness and funds for children and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Little City Invitational is recognized as one of the most prominent and longest-running charity golf tournaments in the Greater Chicago Area.

For more than 50 years, Little City has provided innovative and personalized programs to fully assist and empower children and adults as they live safely, work productively, explore creatively and learn continuously throughout their lifetime.

In memory of Morrie Kellman, long-time friend, founding member and creator of the Invitational Golf Tournament, Little City will honor Joe Adams, Managing Partner and CEO of McGladrey LLP –the nation’s leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services– with the Morrie Kellman Humanitarian Award.

“We are happy to honor Joe Adams and McGladrey as they have been Little City supporters for years,” commented Little City Executive Director Shawn E. Jeffers. “LCI is one of our biggest fundraisers and we are looking forward to another successful year.”
Openings for individual players, foursomes and sponsorships are available. Guests will enjoy 18 holes of golf, followed by a cocktail reception, lavish dinner, musical entertainment and silent and live auctions featuring opportunities to play at exclusive golf clubs.

Individual golf tickets are $750 per golfer or $3,000 per foursome. Tickets for dinner are available at $250 per seat. Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available for companies interested in supporting the event. All proceeds benefit the children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by Little City.
