This email put a BIG smile on my face this morning. I love that I get to have a glimpse of my child’s day through this system [Kaymbu]. Plus, it further reinforces the idea that enrolling my daughter at Little Sprouts was the best decision I ever made!

Lawrence, MA (PRWEB) September 20, 2013

Little Sprouts, a leader in early education and child care, announced Thursday that it will be partnering with Kaymbu, an iPad-based system designed to increase communication between parents and schools.

Beginning this Fall, Little Sprouts will add over 100 iPads to its current technology count. The additional iPads will function under Kaymbu, and will allow each classroom to foster greater parent-teacher relationships. Through the use of the Kaymbu application, Little Sprouts teachers will now be able to take pictures of their students, add a caption, “tag” them, and send them directly to mom or dad’s inbox.

Mark Anderegg, Little Sprouts CEO, believes that parent communication is a crucial part of the early education setting. “Family engagement is a critical component to our educational philosophy but, most importantly, a vital piece to overall childhood development.”

Recent studies support Mark’s claim, proving that family engagement in a child’s early years will lead to school readiness and later academic success. Anderegg continues, “The Kaymbu platform will allow us to share precious and important moments from our classrooms in a very personalized way.”

Little Sprouts has been piloting the Kaymbu program at its schools for 6 months, with parents thrilled by the new initiative and overall results. An Amesbury parent exclaims, “This is fabulous! What a nice way to end my busy week with all these glimpses of my daughter’s week at school!” A Lawrence mother states, “I just love getting pictures of my little baby while I am work. It makes my day and I love seeing her doing activities that are helping her develop and grow.” A Woburn family also shares, “This email put a BIG smile on my face this morning. I love that I get to have a glimpse of my child’s day through this system. Plus, it further reinforces the idea that enrolling my daughter at Little Sprouts was the best decision I ever made!”

To support the Kaymbu integration, Little Sprouts teachers will receive training related to the developmentally appropriate use of iPads in the classroom. Little Sprouts believes that iPads are a useful tool to support learning and communication, providing an opportunity for children to experience concepts of learning beyond traditional classroom models.

Kin Lo, CEO and Co-Founder of Kaymbu, looks forward to the new partnership with Little Sprouts. “Little Sprouts is widely recognized as a leader and innovator in the field of early education. It is our privilege to have the opportunity to partner with such a well-respected company.” Lo states, “We look forward to helping them provide an even better experience for children and families, while becoming part of their proven commitment of continuous improvement and innovation.”
