At the review course, Dr. Singh helped organize the first ever Food and Addiction seminar, a half-day workshop focusing on the scientific advances in understanding the role of addictive behaviors in the obesity epidemic. She helped bring together experts in the fields of brain science, public health, psychiatry, and addiction to teach physicians a different framework for treatment, beyond calorie counting and appetite suppression.
Dr. Singh, Board Certified in Addiction Medicine and with nearly 20 years’ experience in addiction treatment, is one of few experts throughout the country who integrates the latest in medical and scientific advancements in addiction treatment, with nutritional medicine, holistic and natural treatments.
