New Book Chronicles Globetrotter’s Travels Through Poetry
ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- “Every hundred feet the world changes,” said renowned Chilean author Roberto Bolaño. These words ring true for any seasoned traveler, and in his new book, Scenes the Writer Shows (published by Trafford Publishing), globetrotting author MB Moshe seeks to convey the sights he saw and the experiences he had in his exploits into captivating and evocative prose and poetry.
Moshe uses rhyme and verse to convey the feel, the sight and the sound of the places he has been to, the people he met in the course of his life, how they inspired him, how he saw them and how they perceived him in turn. His words recount his life journey, his interpretations of the things he has seen, a chronicle spanning multiple continents, beginning from his very childhood and through his heyday, from the sand and sun of idyllic beaches, to the cold concrete of an East Berlin checkpoint. Readers will be treated to 41 concise poems of contrasts and wonders, of places and scenes as seen by a writer, and portrayed through the art of the eye, the heart and the mind.
Scenes the Writer Shows also presents a perspective of a disabled person who has gone to places far off the beaten path, and gives readers a new insight on how the disabled feel in the world. For those interested in experiencing new places through the lens of a new perspective, Moshe’s collection of poetry will definitely make for an engaging reading experience.
