Michigan Virtual Charter Academy (MVCA), an online charter school authorized by Grand Valley State University, and Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy (MGLVA), an online charter school authorized by Manistee Public Schools, announced today that they will take part in National School Choice Week 2014, an initiative designed to shine a spotlight on the need for effective education options for all children. From January 26-February 1, both schools will celebrate the power of school choice and bring together students/families to share their unique experiences, meet other students, and take part in fun activities.

To kick off the festivities, a special event will be held on January 26 at the Michigan Science Center, where families currently involved in the programs (and those thinking about joining) will be invited to tour exhibits, all of which will have a tie-in to the award-winning curriculum offered at both schools.
