MK Education Names Their Top Four Allied Healthcare Programs and Student Success Stories

The company has recently named the top four programs that are offered: Pharmacy Technician Training, Veterinary Assistant Training, Dental Assistant Training and Hemodialysis Technician Training. Below includes one success story from each program:
Pharmacy Technician Training
The Pharmacy Technician Training program ran at College of DuPage in Fall 2012 and the program was a success. Mary Ann Castillo is a graduating student who completed her externship at Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy in Glenview (they have a call center, compounding, mail order, etc.). Soon after, she was hired by CVS Caremark in July.
Veterinary Assistant Training
The Vet Assistant Training program ran at College of Lake County in Spring 2013 and student Kelly Wheeler got placed at All Creatures Animal Hospital for the externship site and then was subsequently hired.
Dental Assistant Training
The Dental Assistant Training program runs at many of the colleges that MK Education works with. Recently a graduate of the Dental Assistant Training program got hired by a dentist and was even given her own dental assistant chair in the office so she can tend to the patients she works with.
Hemodialysis Technician Training
The Hemo Dialysis Technician Training program ran at the College of Dupage in the summer of 2013. The program is BONENT approved; the students in the class attended a live field trip at DSI Renal Center and were able to get hands-on experience to take throughout their medical journey!
