MRA Experiential Tours & Equipment Hosts World Vision’s Multimedia Interactive Virtual Tanzanian Trek
Madison Heights, MI (PRWEB) July 02, 2013 -- World Vision’s Multimedia Semi-Truck brings Tanzanian Village’s Interactive Story to Madison Heights, MI.
Local communities can experience the day-to-day world of one African community through a high-tech, hands-on mobile exhibit.
The truck tours the country this summer, giving local communities an experiential look at global need and providing a simple, proven way to respond through World Vision. Through tablet-based technologies and state-of-the-art cinematography, the sights and sounds of Africa come alive as participants in "Kisongo Trek" journey toward hope and discover ways in which they can make a lasting difference in the life of one child.
Experiential tours and equipment provider MRA partnered with World Vision to bring the story of one African village to life inside a 90’ x 40’ semi-truck exhibit with 26 TV monitors, 10 computers and other interactive props for an experience both virtual and hands-on. On their ride to Kisongo, visitors will be escorted by 13-year-old Babayetu, a World Vision-Sponsored Child who guides them through the village discussing the problems of the past, the significant progress his town has enjoyed in recent years, the continuing challenges they face, and the exciting opportunities he and his family see for the future thanks to ongoing support.
